Japanese violinist Hiroka Matsumoto debuted with the Liszt Chamber Ensemble in Budapest, she performed the complete "Four Seasons by Vivaldi without a conductor in 2008. She was awarded many prizes including the second prize at the Wieniawski Lipinski International Competition and the Yehudi Menuhin Prize (Kronberg Academy, Germany). Her concerto appearances include the Győr Philharmonic Orchestra in Hungary, the Jena Symphony Orchestra in Germany, the Polish Baltic Philharmonic in Poland, and the Tokyo Symphony Orchestra in Japan. She received a Master of Arts from the Music and Arts University of the City of Vienna in 2019 and a Concertmaster Artist Diploma at the Stauffer Academy in Cremona in 2023. She has received advice from notable violinists including Ana Chumachenco, Noah Bendix-Balgley, and Augustin Hadelich. Since 2024, she has been a scholarship student at the Cleveland Institute of Music. Currently, she is active performing as a soloist in the USA and Japan.
